Falmouth Heritage Renewal Enters Its Second Decade

As Falmouth Heritage Renewal, a US 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity, enters its second decade of historic preservation, its mission of restoring the historic built environment of Falmouth while simultaneously preserving Jamaica’s rich cultural heritage remains the same.  Not only is FHR preserving Falmouth’s British Colonial  architecture, but its goal of making a positive impact on the community by providing improved housing for its residents, skilled training for its youth, and opportunities for increased economic vitality for the entire region continues.  This year, the vision has expanded to include a museum, which will give visitors an opportunity to learn about Falmouth’s significant history and its contributions to the world.  Browse our website to learn more about Falmouth Heritage Renewal’s work in Jamaica and how you can get involved, or to plan a visit to the charming seaside Georgian town, the Caribbean’s newest heritage tourism site.
